funpsyco-deactivated20150927 asked: Hello there! I find your tutorials quite useful! Specially the clothes, hair and unique face ones! Very important. But I have a request. Could you tell us how to draw men (be able to differentiate males from females and viceversa in manga)? I only know how to draw women right, but men for me turn out too skinny or female like. Also, could you teach the conventions of manga comics? Such as, how should a box look like if it's an action scene, a romance scene, short events, long events, etc. THX!
Hi, at the moment i have requests for drawing Manga Gear and after that i’ll Start a tutorial on How to Draw manga Girls (LOL). I’ll place your’s in the next of line and i’ll create a manga tutorial about men (male characters). Regarding the scenes that you mentioned, you can take a look here: http://howtodrawmangas.com/post/36754732765/manga-characters-in-a-scene
very-merry-me-blog asked: Any tips on starting a face? I can't even get the damn circle right.
You just need to be patient. As most things in life, you must practice a little every day and don’t quit. When i started, i decided to draw one hour every day in order to improve.
eurekatenshi-blog asked: Hello, I'm a newbie in a creating stories etc. Can you suggest smth for me from what i need to start? And a site is really good, i think. I had a many days of wandering in searching of a good site about drawing and story creating, Thanks a lot, it's really cool site.
You’re welcome friend! Well you can start here: http://howtodrawmangas.com/post/30373665633/how-to-draw-manga-faces
Most people start by drawing the faces. It’s the basic and at the same time, the most important thing that someone must know in order to draw manga comics.
itsonlymario asked: Thanks for reading my review again it really helps me out :3
No prob. It’s my pleasure :D
srslyawful asked: Hey Alex, how do you turn your drawings into animes?
If you mean how i color them, then the best method is to use a software like photoshop. Manga studio has some functionality for coloring, but it’s definetely harder than photoshop.
